Facilitation

Most teams don't have a performance problem. They have more in them than everyday pressure allows to come through. And when a system runs on pressure for too long, something gets lost: connection, clarity and soul.

Through facilitation I help executive teams and leaders pause effectively to see what's actually at play, decide on direction and move from A to Be: with less friction and more life in it.

Sometimes that's a day out of the office. Sometimes a programme that runs for multiple seasons. Sometimes offline on a mountain.

With teams

A day out of the office to re-align and move. Or three half-days spread over six months, working on the team instead of in it: what's unused, what goes unsaid, what trust would make possible.

With leaders

Three months, one person. We start with a blueprint of how you're wired, then a day designed for you alone, usually outside, then a conversation to bring it home. The capacity of a team is limited by the capacity of the one leading it.

With organisations

Culture programmes that run through the whole thing: leadership, teams, skills, as one movement rather than three trainings. And large gatherings, two hundred people, two days, designed so the room leaves different than it came in.

The format follows the question, just as the facilitating team is curated for the job.

Sometimes we leave the office entirely.

24h Buitenspelen
A day and a night offline in a Dutch forest, for leaders and teams who need to breathe before they can think. Once a year, open to individuals.
Moving Mountains
Three days in St. Anton in winter, for executive teams who want the offsite to actually change something. Two teams a season.
Hiking retreat
Hut to hut through the Verwall in September, seven people at most. Walk your talk.

These are by conversation only. Write me.

SkyTeam

Two hundred change-makers in aviation, two days in Atlanta and later Jeddah. We rebuilt the conference's content around connection, collaboration and conversation. A corporate conference done differently, to the likes of the participants.

ID&T

A new festival venture that was an instant success, at a real cost to the team behind it. Three half-days over six months to move from survival mode to something sustainable. Less friction, more trust, and the people stayed.

KNMP

An employee survey said: there's more in this organisation than we're realising. An organisation-wide programme on trust and collaboration, from leadership to teams to skills. The next survey said something different.

"Our offsite wasn't just a break from business, your program challenged how we collaborate. On the mountain and in the facilitated sessions, outside pressure disappeared and real conversations came up."Andre Bechtold, President, SAP Industries & Experiences
